Overall Comment:
“SecPod initially came across as a nextgen Endpoint Management tool that had a lot of potential. Implementations started with Patch Management and then the Endpoint Management module, however, the maturity (or lack of it) of the product stands out quite clearly. There are theoretical features that do not seem to work seamlessly in complex real-world scenarios.”
What do you like best about SanerNow?
The agent is lightweight, and the GUI is simple too. Implementation has been pretty quick and convenient when the infra was simple and smaller.
Improvements Suggested:
The Service and Support teams from the partners or the OEM seem to be inadequately equipped to handle/troubleshoot non-standard issues. Feature requests are claimed to be on the pipeline but never seem to materialize. The effectiveness (in functions like using SecPod for Auto-deploy scripts and patches) of the tool is very limited in homogenous environments with a mix of Linux, Mac, and Windows systems.
