As a Business Development Rep/Manager, you will play a significant role in growing SecPod’s business across geographies and industries. This is a remote role and reports into the Associate Manager/Manager – Business Development. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Responsibilities:

● Having a strong understanding of the SecPod buyer to research and identify prospects on an ongoing basis

● Engaging prospects via cold calls, e-mails, and social platforms (i.e., LinkedIn) to generate outbound leads

● Applying qualification criteria to outbound and inbound leads to sufficiently understand budget, authority, need, and timing (BANT) of each opportunity

● Scheduling demos, and conducting some as well, to further engage qualified leads along the buyer journey

● Engaging the Inside/Field sales team to sufficiently hand over the sales qualified lead (SQL) for further discussion and closure

The Candidate

This is a critical function in the company and we are looking for the following skill sets:

● At least 2+ years of business development or inside sales experience in the IT/SaaS space

● Outstanding ability to understand the SecPod customer and to identify prospects who match that profile

● Proven track record in generating revenue from SQLs (this is about quality, not quantity)

● Strong phone presence and experience with talking to dozens of prospects every day

● Excellent written communication skills and strong understanding of professional tone and communication

● Proficiency with corporate productivity products/tools and Hubspot

● Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
