Sales Engineer - USA
As a Sales Engineer at SecPod Technologies, Inc. , you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our technical solutions and our customers’ needs. You will work closely with the Sales team to understand client requirements, provide technical expertise, and demonstrate how our products/services can address their challenges. This role offers a unique blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen.
- Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our products/services, including their technical features, capabilities, and benefits.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with Sales team members to engage clients and prospects in technical discussions, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the technical aspects and value of our offerings.
- Solution Design: Work closely with clients to design customized solutions that meet their specific requirements, utilizing your technical knowledge.
- Technical Support: Provide pre-sales technical support, including answering technical queries, addressing concerns, and facilitating technical discussions.
- Proof of Concept (PoC): Lead the planning and execution of PoCs to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of our solutions to potential clients.
- Proposal Development: Assist in the creation of technical proposals, quotes, and documentation for clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs.
- Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor products to effectively position our offerings.
- Customer Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate clients on how to effectively use our products/services.
- Post-Sales Support: Collaborate with the Customer Success team to ensure a smooth transition from the sales phase to implementation, addressing any technical concerns.
This is a critical function in the company and we are looking for the following skill sets:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical sales or pre-sales role, preferably in Cybersecurity technology.
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Proficiency in technical tools and software relevant to the position.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and demonstrations.
