About SecPod
SecPod is an information security technology company offering security content as a service. We are the first company to launch a commercial scale, subscription based SCAP Content Professional Feed and also the first company to conceptualize and productize a SCAP Content Repository.
We offer high quality security content (threat detection modules), either in the language and format of the security product vendor or in the standards based SCAP format.
Security Content includes a set of modules to detect vulnerabilities, apply remedies, identify intrusions, exploit loopholes, describe malware characteristics, verify compliance, and identify security incidents through correlation rules.
SecPod (Security Podium, incarnated as SecPod) was founded in 2008 with a goal to establish a research oriented, standards based information security organization that partners with vendors and enterprises to effectively deal with threats.
